Description

A moist Parve marble cake with chocolate chips  for a melt in your mouth bite. Non-dairy cake with oil and chocolate chips.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 3/4 cup orange juice (or water)
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips + 1 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat the over to 350 degrees
  2. Spray your baking pan with baking spray
  3. Add all the dry ingredients to a bowl and mix with a whisk until well combined.
  4. Add all the wet ingredients to a bowl and mix until well combined. 
  5. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients bowl, mix until well combined. 
  6. In a small bowl add the 1 tbsp flour and chocolate chips mix to cover the chips and fold into the cake batter. 
  7. Divide the batter into two. Add one the cocoa powder to one of the bowl with the batter and mix until well combined. 
  8. Pour the cocoa batter onto the baking pan, followed by the second half of the batter. 
  9. Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
