Description

Passover chocolate brownie cake that only requires five ingredients and easy to make. Plus, that melt in your mouth texture is a winner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) plus 1 tbsp unsalted butter 
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F
  2. Oil a spring pan either a 9inch or 8 inch. You can use a regular cake pan as well. 
  3. Over a double boiler, melt the chocolate and butter together. 
  4. Add the melted chocolate and butter mixture onto a bowl with your eggs. Whisk until well combined. 
  5. Add the sugar and cocoa powder and mix until well combined. 
  6. Pour the batter onto your cake pan, and bake for 25 minutes, or until the top crackle has formed. 
  7. Let cool in pan before cutting or opening the spring pan. Serve and enjoy.
