Ingredients
Scale
- 5 Egg Whites
- 3/4 cup of White Sugar
- 1 tsp of Cornstarch
- 3 tbsp of Nutella
Instructions
- In a small pot, bring water to a boil. Once boiled, lower the heat to low.
- Place the egg whites and sugar in a mixing bowl. Place above the boiling water and mix every few seconds until the sugar has melted. This should take about four minutes.
- Bring the mixing bowl to the mixer and mix it on medium for one minute.
- Add the cornstarch and mix on high for about 10 minutes, or until you reach stiff peaks.
- Once ready, add 3 tablespoons of Nutella and fold it in. Only fold three times so as not to break the meringue.
- Add the meringue to your piping bag and start piping the meringues onto a parchment paper.
- Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Fahrenheit and place your meringues in the oven for 6 hours.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Store the meringues in a closed container to avoid moisture and keep them fresh.
