Description

A quick and east five minute apple crisp that is best served warm and with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 apples chopped to small squares (not too small, just the right size to pick them up with a spoon).
  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/3 Cup butter/dairy-free margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (or to your preference)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degreed F
  2. Peel and chop the apples
  3. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on the apples from the measured ingredients
  4. In the bowl add your flour, sugar, egg, butter, salt, and cinnamon. Mix by fork until the egg is broken and mixed in. Switch to mixing by hand to get a crumbly mixture. Make sure to not over mix.
  5. Sprinkle your crumble mixture over the apples. Make sure it covers all the apples.
  6. Bake for 30-45 minutes or until the crumble is brown.
  7. Let cool down for 5 minutes and enjoy best with vanilla ice cream!
