apple crisp in five minutes

Easy Apple Crisp – less than 5 minutes to prep

Fall is in the air! My family is all about apples, honey, and pomegranates for Rosh Hashana (the Jewish New Year). Which leads us to the apple orchards each year. We love picking apples and using them fresh for our fall baking and holiday dishes. Our favorite? An easy apple crisp warm from the oven and topped with a scoop of ice cream.

apple and cinnamon dessert

This year between our busy Fall wedding schedule and getting ready for holiday portraits I have was on a mission to find a quick dessert recipe that I could make. I was interested in an easy dairy-free recipe that would warm me up. Especially during a New York fall evening.

These past two weeks, I have been perfecting this recipe. Enjoying this dairy-free apple crisp dessert with delicious ice cream on top. This dessert really does take less than 5 minutes to prepare and only 30 minutes to bake in the oven. Quick and easy!

The best thing about this easy 5-minute apple crisp dessert is that you can premake it. You can take it out, pop it in the oven to warm it up, and enjoy! It is best served warm…with a scoop of ice cream. (I mean who can say no to Ice Cream?!).
